K-Drama

Sigh...
This series had so much promise for me and yet failed miserably!Pros:
1. The main lead did his role justice
2. The growth of all the side characters
3. The chemistry between the leads
4. The premise of a good story was there
Cons:
1. Why was the villain so obvious!!! It would have been more shocking if Lei shushu was the villain
2. Why was the female lead so quick to always throw the male lead away because he didn't follow what she thought was acceptable
3. The editing in the beginning was so bad !!!
4. The ending was rushed and very stupid . I mean okay we all suddenly see the light at the last minute and decide to kill ourselves
5. Why did the male lead suddenly not give a damn about his land he was fighting so hard for , like you can love her and still have goals
6. The female was so hung up on her aunt that she basically tried to be her . All anyone had to say was oh this person hurt cai pingshu and suddenly we get a close up of her breathing fire through her eyes and swinging her sword . Again.
7. Love the female lead normally but she did not do this drama justice . At all. It felt like she was using an illfitting outfit. She killed it in never ending summer though!
8. Lastly , the ending was waaaaayyy too rushed .

There better be a season 2!!!!!
It's been a really long time since a kdrama hooked me like this . I went into having no expectations and boy was I wrong . If you're a kdrama fan from 2014 onwards era then you know when I mean that this did not have that typical Netflix feel to it that all the current dramas have even if they're not a Netflix production. There was no mind blowing aspects that you can't guess but it still kept you engrossed . The character growth of the ml mother was my favorite. And not to mention I like how they didn't gloss over the mls feelings when he learns the truth . Only thing I didn't like was the 6 month period but okay guess I can't have everything.Overall , there is definitely scope for a season 2 and I need them to confirm same immediately!
