We will not be getting season two. China went so far as to ban the actors from even appearing together. All we can hope for is Taiwan/Japan/Thailand/Korea to pick up an adaptation and actually do it justice. The Thai adaptation fell short so I don't count that one, unfortunately. I think Taiwan could do it justice
I have watched this movie multiple times cuz it came with my Mirotic Tour DVD and it did not offer subtitles in English, despite that I absolutely love this drama.

I don’t think you understood the ending. Eli decided to go to the US to be with Nikko so ultimately not a sad ending. I was disappointed thinking it would be so much worse but it wasn’t. Also there’s possibly gonna be a season 2. You shouldn’t call people homophobic because you didn’t like a storyline 💀
