Yes, shes part "monster demon", the kind that Fusheng is. She's susceptible to the evil incantations in the Xutian Abyss, you can tell from the episodes where XZ takes her on "dates" around to fix the seal. But she's largely able to resist and is a good person since her Master raised her. Her Master is hiding that from her, yes, and observing her (always asking "How do the abyss make you feel?"). Mo Fang is not a monster demon, but he has been fed with their powers since he's the Young Master, his dad is the creator of the monster demons. He can ressurect like Fusheng.

No it was for laughs (he likes toying with her and teasing), but now knowing she hates water and actually died in the sea hurts him so much more. "I wish I was nicer to her."

In the novel, her phoenix pearl (its her demon core) activated when FS tries to steal it, and merges with her body and she burns up (to ashes, its implied she is "reborn" from nothingness since she's a full phoenix now). XZ goes down searching for her ashes, sees hallucinations of her drowning in the sea and calling for his help, so he goes crazy, and despite strikes of punishment lightning, he froze the whole East Sea for 10 days&nights to find her, and found the broken pieces of her spear. Then later Heaven found out what he's doing, causing damage to sea life and people, so he unfroze the sea, but refused to go back, spending months walking the ocean and shores to find her.

Nope, the sea tribe Prince (Furong's best friend that he was waiting for to arrive) got kidnapped, remember he dropped his box of treasures and then a hand snatched him? So with everything happening theres gotta be a misdirection
