I loved Goong, and the bears in the ending credits were sometimes so, so funny! It was one I couldn't stop watching, so I barnstormed through the whole thing in a weekend. Ju Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye really got to me. It's a comedy/romance/drama. Having watched a number of sageuks it was interesting for that aspect too. I think Heard It Through the Grapevine played a bit with aspects of Goong in developing its setting and tone in the early episodes. (Ju Ji Hoon's character pulled me in from the very beginning.) Flower Boy Ramyeon Shop was generally fun and Jung Il Woo impressed me, but I liked Goong a lot more. I haven't seen the others.

I loved Uhm Tae Woong in The Devil, one of my most favorite dramas. I also need to watch Resurrection. Thanks…
I first saw Uhm Tae Woong in Great Queen Seondok, and thought he was a wonderful actor! He gave a powerful performance as Kim Yushin! I went looking for him after that. I absolutely loved The Devil! It's a gem of a drama. He's so good in it. Everyone is so good in it. Resurrection is really good too. I actually haven't seen him in anything I didn't like. And now he's on Return of Superman with his daughter Jion. They are so cute. Their first episode is #59 (#8 in the current series on Dramafever. It aired on January 4, 2015)

I am enjoying Blood. It's a lot more suspenseful and plot driven than I imagined going in. It' s not the most fabulous kdrama I've ever seen, but it is holding my attention, and it does seem to be one I choose to watch first on Monday and Tuesday nights.

I love this film! It captures something so real, and brings back memories of the way I felt when I first became sexually active. It's a really good erotic film that goes beyond that into being a good film. It's left me with lots to think about.

Oh my god, is that his current picture? He has lost so much weight! :O
Yeah, he lost 35kg for his role in Gangnam 1970.

Okay, I'm through Episode 6 and Healer is wonderful! Let me count the ways: 1) Kim Mi Kyung as a hacker extraordinaire with wild hair and the complete inability to neatly roll, or neatly eat, kimbap. Her character is hilarious, hard-edged, and highly competent. (She also knows a lot more about the grand mystery from the past that has many fingers in the present than we the viewers do, but she's not sharing yet.) 2) Park Min Young as a wannabe investigative reporter. She's adorable, a bit zany, and totally dedicated. 3) Ji Chang Wook in a Superman-style dual role. He's a super courier with mad martial arts skills going by the code name Healer. 4) Yoo Ji Tae as an investigative reporter -- the real thing -- who used to be idolized by our wannabe reporter, until she actually encounters him in real life. 5) The grand mystery that underlies the whole storyline and has tainted the childhoods of the three main characters. (At the end of episode 6 all we have are scattered fragments of the puzzle and a growing need to know more.) The suspense thing is done very well!
