After seeing the preview for episode 18 i do think the dream arc will end tomorrow and we will be back to TTJ and LLS either by the end of tomorrow's episode or on Monday's episode.

I'm not to sure then cause i watched the trailer for episode 19 and 20 and it showed the tower scene and the nail scene. It also showed scenes we haven't see yet even in the other trailers. It could have been an edit i suppose but it seemed legit. Guess we will find out later this week.
It has been brought to my attention that there is a chance that we will see the tower scene as well as the nail scene very soon, and by soon i mean there is a chance we will see both on Thursday. If that is the true i don't know how to mentally prepare myself because i am struggling just thinking about it 😭
I also remembered that we will have to wait 3 LONG DAYS after Thursday for the next episode. I'm already suffering enough watching them suffer already, now i have to suffer more just waiting to watch them suffer. If that isn't cruel then i don't know what is. I think i remember reading about the part at some point, i think people said that TTJ immediately regrets it afterwards and goes on a killing spree or something?? And i think someone even said he tortures Bing Chang and or just treats her pretty poorly afterwords. That is what i have read what people said anyway don't know how much of it is actually true. Although i haven't read the novel i do know that the tower scene is a pretty emotional one so i'm both excited and scared to watch it 🫣

I see what you're saying and although i do agree to some extent, I just think for me personally i haven't seen enough to care about her nearly as much. And i am the type of person who would much rather see something unfold than be told what happened and or hint at it.
Maybe it's because i think i know what's coming that's hindering my thoughts a bit but she just isn't doing much for me other than becoming a nuisance. At the end of the day we all have our own opinions which make conversations like this fun❤️

I don't know much about the part she plays in the Ming Yu storyline (I have yet to watch ep 12) also haven't read the novel so i am yet to see how i feel about her in that storyline, but my main problem is there just isn't enough substance to her at least for right now i assume this will gradually change with each episode.
What you said makes sense and i do agree that she does deserve some sympathy/understanding regarding to how her family treated her. But at some point that can only go so far especially if that person isn't willing to change and or understand there faults.
After seeing how TTJ had been treated probably has morphed my perspective a bit, because lets be honest no one has had it worse than him. But to me she just feels useless, they haven't really given me a reason to care nearly as much as i do about TTJ abuse. Of course i feel some sympathy, no one deserves to be treated like that but there has just been no indication that she understands how wrong of her it was to think like that . Whereas TTJ at some point was willing to essentiality become what he thought would make people like him and be a "good" person". The only reason that changed is because it didn't matter what he did they would always just see him as this "monster" so finally he snapped which is understandable.
I also think the reason everyone has given more leeway to TTJ and not YBC is we have seen a lot more of what he has been through, whereas with her we mostly just heard about it but even than if you compare the two it doesn't even come close.
All in all you bring up some good points which i do agree with. I think this is the result of the writers not giving enough screen time for people to care nearly as much as we do about TTJ trauma, Which has resulted into people seeing her as this selfish person with little to no sympathy. Maybe they will show more about how they treated her later on that makes me more sympathetic towards her who knows. But as of right now i still just don't care to much about her she just feels like a nuisance. I guess I'll have to see if my opinion changes the more episodes i watch, Although i doubt it. But i guess that's what makes a good villain.
At first i didn't mind Ye Bing Chang in fact i felt a little sorry for her, but ever since the wedding when she asked Xiao Lin not to go help the innocent people who were attending HER WEDDING I have not liked her one bit. She just depends on him to much and expects him to only think about her feelings and damn everyone else. She just acts way to innocent for my liking.
However I think i know why they are are setting her up like this, i just have a feeling that if you don't hate her now you will later. But for right now it just seems like her purpose is to just annoy us. The 2nd couple in general just isn't doing it for me in fact i have to stop myself from fast-forwarding there scenes.
I think the issue with having a couple seemingly already together before we have time to watch them grow together is that half the time the writers just expect us to believe that they love each other right away even though we have seen nothing to believe that. That's the issue when you have a couple together right away, we as the viewers want to see them go through the good and the bad it gives us a reason to root for them as a couple. But when there together already we just have to take there word for it. All in all I'm not to upset about this because in full transparency i came for Li Su Su and Tantai Jin so I'm happy regardless 🤗
The third couple is okay i don't really have much thoughts on them yet but i definitely prefer them to the 2nd couple. All in all I'm loving the drama and I can't wait to get absolutely wrecked in the episodes to follow. But the real question is how am i suppose to go 3 days without any episodes like actually how!?!?!? I already know those 3 days are going to go by so slow especially if there is a pretty big cliffhanger, I am already dreading it... 😭😩
