I know Ra Ik is upset about her being his fan right now (rightfully so). But I just can't help but think that in the future he is going to be happy about it once they resolve it (most likely in episode 8). I can just imagine a scene were he is jealous and all of a sudden remember she is one of his fans and get so cocky/proud about it and feel better😂
I got the same feelings i got when i watched Alchemy of Souls for the first time, which is this is going to be a new favorite. Immediately hooked from the first episode. And im loving their relationships from both the past and present. So exctied to watch a drama that has me hooked like this feels like forever since it last happened 😭🥰
This drama has no business being this good . I have lost count on how many times i have re-watched all 4 episodes. It's to gooooooooood. And after that preview friday feels like years away 😫
So we don't have to watch Douluo Continent before watching this?
The only reason that maybe you would want to watch Douluo Continent is to see there training and first meetings, but if you don't care to much about that than i say you don't need to.
TLOW also does a good recap covering everything you should know going into this anyways, so overall you should be good to skip Douluo Continent. But if you do end up getting confused about something feel free to ask me!
Finished the first episode and honestly i am speechless... It really was like watching a live action version of the anime and i couldn't be happier! This is what Douluo Continent should have been but instead they changed to much of the source material and made it look like a fanfiction instead.
Now don't get me wrong i think Douluo Continent is actually okay as a standalone, but as a soul land adaptation? No just no. And after watching the first episode of TLOW further proves that. The first 45 minutes of TLOW gave us more story faithful to the anime than the whole of Douluo Continent.
Regardless i am beyond excited to continue and can't wait to see some of my favorite scenes in live action. What an amazing start.
We get two episodes a week up until the week of December 13th and 21st. For some reason we only get one episode…
Ah i didn't even think about that, makes total sense 🙈 Either way we will be suffering with all this waiting especially if they do a crazy cliffhanger for those episodes😭
thought the same!! i hope it can keep its standards high the way alchemy of souls did. i really thought they released…
I have high hopes that it will considering it's only 12 episodes which means less time for any unnecessary filler🤞 God i wish they would have released it all at once, but of course they have to torture us and make us wait 😭
Anyone coming to the comment section before starting this, DO NOT START IT! Netflix is going to torture us with…
We get two episodes a week up until the week of December 13th and 21st. For some reason we only get one episode for those two weeks. I'm going to assume that because the show only has 12 episodes they want it to space it out so it will air longer, otherwise I'm not to sure why they did that. So basically it's two episode's a week up until episode 6 after episode 6 it's one. We haven't seen the rest of the schedule yet so I'm not sure if it will continue this way or not. But if so i just know we will be suffering 😭
I haven't seen this good of a first episode since Alchemy of souls! Between the plot twist and their chemistry this is going to be really good. I can feel it. And after seeing the preview for episode 2 i just know it's only going to be better and waiting for future episodes is going to be torture 😭
But at what time will it be released. Can’t we expect it at midnight lol?
I'm not to sure, but in my past experiences with other dramas they usually didn't air until anywhere between 9-10am sometimes even as late as 11. I will actually be surprised if it releases right away. Will just have to wait and see!
Honestly i wish i didn't watch the trailers either because it would have been more exciting to watch those scenes as it happens. And i probably would have waited to had i know they were were going to follow the donghua, i just didn't expect TLOW to be a complete turn around from the 2021 adaptation.😭

I hate it here so i will go to secret gardens in my mind 😭
