A Bold FL, Her Devoted First Love and Complicated Revenge

OVERALL IMPRESSION🌟
An enjoyable second-chance romance surrounded by betrayal, workplace conflict and several overlapping revenge schemes.

WHAT I LIKED💖
• The FL decisively ended her relationship when her boyfriend chose his mistress. She was outspoken, confident and unafraid to pursue the ML openly.
• The leads’ playful familiarity and affection felt believable because they had once been a couple. The ML had never stopped loving or protecting her.
• Their flirting was delightful: he worked tirelessly to attract her attention, yet fled when she boldly flirted back!
• The SML had a surprisingly complex arc, while the SFL’s tantrums after every defeat were wonderfully entertaining.

WHAT I DISLIKED⚠️
• The ML’s fake-amnesia scheme was unnecessary; he should have communicated honestly.
• The FL’s unsupportive mother and the numerous revenge plots became frustrating and occasionally confusing.

PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCES🎭
• Ma Shi Yao convincingly portrayed the ML’s humour, devotion and emotional vulnerability.
• Yu Cong gave the FL confidence and boldness, while their affectionate chemistry felt natural to me.

FINAL THOUGHTS💭
Despite its crowded plotting, this was a good watch with a strong FL, devoted ML, believable romance and fascinating SML.
