The viewership trend is indeed bad tho but I'm sure he's not targeting Zhao Liying, he's just explaining one of the dark side of the entertainment industry, just because a drama rating is high doesn't mean that we, the viewers are gonna enjoy it cuz we all have different taste in dramas he was saying all these despite his previous drama also have high ratings. So, when you watch a drama, you don't have to rely on those ratings and datas if you cannot enjoy the drama, then don't watch it you can also watch any dramas that suit your taste and it doesn't have to be high ratings dramas

I'm guessing it's an open ending, since the kid is Ning yuanZhou's and Ren Ruyi's son which means they might've faked their death and continued their life somewhere else but at the same time, the kid could be just part of Chu Yue's imagination since Ning YuanZhou's squad also appeared later at that scene
