It still takes place in historical era though. I'm saying that if fox demons wants to blend in with the humans, it would be more realistic if they try to follow the beauty standards from the historical era while keeping some of their demon fox features at the same time. I respect your opinion though. They look good but it just that their makeup is kinda modern-like

Bruh why would historical cdramas started giving female stars (especially Ju Jingyi) modern-like makeup? Like girl, you're already beautiful, putting on that makeup is absolutely unnecessary. Idk man, seeing their faces with that type of makeup in historical cdramas kinda ruins it for me. It just looks like they're cosplaying the characters instead of actually in the historical era. I prefer a more natural-looking makeup tbh
