I just checked and the Ep 1 subs have been fixed. Please have a little more patience - it's already awesome that they release them so quickly. I'm a translator myself (not for Asian languages) and know that mistakes can happen under pressure. We are only human! Happy watching!
You don't have to be so passive aggressive about it lol Could have simply wrote me a message or a comment I could…
@Kate is the true star I studied intercultural awareness and have taught it, so I'm acutely aware of nuance and differences between countries + cultures, but generalized intentionally because I didn't think elaborating in detail on the topic really belonged in a forum like this. ;-) PS. This comment was moved from the top, in case anyone is wondering what happened. Sorry, folks, for the mess!
Sorry, this comment was in the wrong place. It has been moved to where it belonged.
Grr, the above comment got posted in the wrong place. Can anyone tell me how to move or delete a comment? This one definitely does not belong here at the top!!

Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's, and I think you make some good points. It would be boring if we all agreed, wouldn't it? I happen to have enjoyed the drama a lot by 1) always understanding it as fiction and 2) not assuming Thai cultural values and perspectives are the same as mine, a person raised in Western Europe. My 2 cents...
Why are the top reviews ratings so awfully low tho :/
If you skim through all of the reviews, most of them are overwhelmingly positive, with only a very few negative ones. Secondly, considering the popularity of the series all over the world - the finale even was the no. 1 Twitter trend in Germany (plus several other countries) and No. 2 worldwide yesterday, which has to be a first for a Thai BL drama - I wouldn't worry about it. It didn't manage to reach no. 1 worldwide as Ep 11 did, but that's still a great showing! It seems to me that the majority who watched it loved it, and there will always be a few people who hate it for any number of reasons. Humans just have to accept that we don't all like the same things! Disagreement is fine, as long as it is respectful.
