LJJ is a bad choice for the ML and I can't get passed it and the comedy isn't hitting. No chance in hell I can sit thru 14 more episodes. I'm out.

Can't help you there. Got to Episode 9 and it was a hard drop. I'm amazed at the stupidly high rating for this. The writing is terrible, the FL and ML are crazy annoying and it's a huge DRAAAAAG to watch.

Expected to love this but nah. It's a big disappointment.

Watched this for a 2nd time and it still stands up as one of the best dramas of 2024. Excellent performances and brilliant writing. Heard there's a second season coming too?

"Tom" himself seems to have 2 brain cells. LOL. Ranting and raving like a crazy person because someone on an internet forum doesn't like a drama he likes. Whatever dude. Chill.

I like the FL's acting as she's behaving exactly like a lazy office worker with no ambition would act. But more than 30 episodes watching a lazy idiot never change or grow. Nope. I'd had enough of her at Episode 15 already. Then when she would rather have Sima Jiao die than kill someone herself, as that's how it could have ended up as he keeps depleting his power to save her stupid ass, sick of her now .

It's nowhere near as bad as some of these commenters are saying. Episode 1 starts out slow but Episode 2 is much better and is obviously a set up for what's to come. It's only 8 episodes too, so it's not like anyone is signing up for years of this :)

Sure, Episode 1 was a bit slow, but Episode 2 was much better and has now set up the drama for six what I think will be fun episodes. Looking forward to them.

It was written by Ma Dong Seok. So he's obviously written it the way he wanted it to go. And it has nothing to do with "how long they're on screen". Actors are paid per job not per minute of screen time.

There are plenty of "non legal" sites already streaming it. Easy to find.

Cast is amazing (except the FL). Unfortunately it will be an 'Avoid' for me as I'm sick to death of Meng Zi Yi's one facial expression. Woman CAN'T act.
