It IS necessary given the era they are from and their status. This was also how the story was written by the author and they are following the novel.

I love that. That's actually family. Girl, where I live, family members murder each other for the littlest things. They do it themselves and they pay people to do it and the cycle repeats. There is no such thing as "Blood is thicker than water". Lots of people call other's family who are not related by blood. This is the definition, "Ultimately, family is the people who stay by your side no matter what. you don't have to share blood."

I agree on the last part. He needed to grovel because he's still trash but people focused on the mother more cause she's outspoken trash and just downright sinister. The novel is a must. Far better than the series. One of my favourite novels besides 'Be Mine'.

They really give soulmate. Earn was a whole wife. They make me so soft it's not even funny. Both novel and series. I wished it focused more on them slowly getting back together. We really needed that 12 episode. Lada's mother can suck it. She's a whole psychopath. The mother as well as the father should've been removed from their daughter's life.

100% as this "value family bounds above all else" sounds very toxic if one can just do as they please under the guise of being family/knowing what's 'best' and face no repercussion. It's really okay to call it a day.

I believe she filed for divorce when Pleng came back but he didn't want to sign the paper. If they aren't divorced and she's pursuing/kissing Pleng, then it's still cheating. Wan is my girl but the guy wasn't done right. He should've never been in the picture when she has no feelings for him.
