Bittersweet Solo Cinema Awakening
This is the first movie I went to the cinema to see alone, and it was quite an experience. I’ve watched it twice—once on the big screen and once at home—and I cried even more the second time. I find it visually beautiful, with characters so complex and real that you can easily see yourself or someone from your own surroundings in every glance. The way the film balances its quiet moments of regret, hope, and tenderness made me feel understood in my own reflections about family and solitude. It also opened my eyes to how family patterns repeat themselves—whether in Thailand, Japan, Korea, or Spain—showing that certain bonds and behaviors are truly universal.
Also, I’m absolutely obsessed with the soundtrack: it’s so beautiful that I put it on whenever I need something calm and comforting.
