Hei hei hei

I’m thinking of watching this drama, but I’m confused on something, so the Fl is a spirit that has possessed a body, so is that person who was previously in that body dead, or do we find out anything about them?
Correct me if I’m wrong
I’d really appreciate if someone could clarify :)
