Totally with you. I also don't get it . There was no chemestry between the couple and not only that but they were supposed to have been dating for 2-3 years and they didn't even touch eachother on the hand. For god sake Arthit's friends hugged him more than his supossed boyfriend. May be it is because when it came out it was the best I don't know but from what I can see the last few years there are some amazing BLs and to me this is just mediocre.

I am mostly chill about dramas even when they disapoint me but there are few that annoyed me to no end :
"Cheese in the trap" - God I hate this one I hate it. It started fine the FL was ok the second lead was ok but the ML was awful. I have no words only thinking about it gets me annoyed.
"To All the Guys Who Loved Me" - It started great. Both leads are talented actors I've watched in other dramas and then it just flopped. There was no chemistry to the point that there was a kiss that was painful to watch. Such a wasted potential
"Love alarm 2" - Another wasted potential. I had such hope for this one but it just flopped
"Nail shop Paris" - This one is a bit of an oldie. It started ok reminding me of coffee prince and then out of nowhere it became some bullshit fantasy literary at the end.

Definiteley you don't need to watch the first series. It is actualy better if you haven't because the beginig is similar to the story in the first series and for me it was a bit boring rewatching similar things.

It's great but it has a slow start. If you stick with it you will hopefully see.
