I was expecting too but at the same time i wasn't... I did undersand that Momi took the decision of having Mimo as a turn of something bad (the fact that she was r*ped) to something good (having a child). Also, i think if Momi recognize him as the "father" it would hurt more to Mimo. Another thing is Momi wanted Mimo to herself.
