A lot of dramas I slump off in the middle, but this is one that's kept going and keeps getting better. Yeah it's cute and funny and the relationship between the main couple is really great, but it's also the first Thai drama I've ever been brought to tears in. Also, favorite second couple lol.
I'll admit my 9 star review I gave 2 years ago at the time was partially emotion based; in hindsight I can see you have some good points. I literally can't imagine rewatching this ever even though I still listen to the soundtrack. That tragic theme you reference would make it too hard to rewatch. Anyway, as you pointed out, the ending was the worst part. If you look at history, they did follow a rough outline of what happened for the beginning, but that end was ridiculous lol. Still, it was emotional. I think if I rate it honestly the lowest I can give it is a 7.
TwoSetViolin played part of this movie as an example of a movie where the actor could really play the violin so now I'm intrigued. I have experience with string instruments so it's always so annoying when the actor is obviously faking it.
Fun fact, I first heard of the original show when I was visiting the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum and they were filming the episode with the Spruce Goose on the same day. So I got to see the actors in real life and see them filming some shots. Very cool. We all went home and watched the first episode to see what it was like. This will be fun :D
But not sure if it's just me, the logic in this drama is really making me scratch my head...
I dropped W but now I want to go try it again so I have something to do between these episodes.
