Raws are on DramaSuki. Subtitles are on Drama-Otaku, but the registration is currently closed. (Their homepage says: We will reopen in Fall 2025) I've been looking for these subtitles since February and I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to watch this drama :(

I compared English and German translations for episode 23. German translation seemed to be more accurate, but the subbers used a mixture of English, German and Chinese names and titles... I don't think we're going to get better English translation :( Netflix's subtitles are so crappy that I gave up and decided to continue rewatching on Viki.

I think Netflix is using an edited version of WeTV's subtitles, but they didn't do a very good job with editing.

I loved this drama! It's my first Chinese drama. I'm trying to rewatch it on Netflix, but the subtitles are killing me... I'm at episode 15 and I'm ready to give up :( Is it just me or are the others also finding these subtitles hard to read?

I first saw "The Ring" (2002) when I was a child. It gave me nightmares, because I was only 10 years old, but I found it interesting. I have seen almost all the adaptions you wrote about in this article, except Fuji TV's dramas and the new "Sadako". I even bought "Rasen" (1998) on a used VHS tape. I wonder where I put it, maybe in the attic? :D I also own Koji Suzuki's books "Ring", "Spiral", "Loop" and "Birthday". In my opinion, "Loop" was the best, too bad it was never made into a movie.

I absolutely loved this drama, but the ending confused me so much :D I hope they make season 2.
