Dunno, I actually don't watch this drama, just came to edit the date it is going to end at.

"On September 26, the representatives from the show revealed that The Mermaid will be cut from the original 16 episodes to 10 episodes. According to them, the shows needs to be funnier and intact while not losing the essence of the story, thus the cut. According to the representatives of the drama, the show will end on October 9, 2014. The show continued to decline in ratings which forced the production to stop."
