I just read they are planning to make season 2 witch will be released next year 2021.
Not real. This rumor is from one website baiting people to click on the article. Netflix and SBS have not said anything so far.

Source?
So Netflix has not even said anything about season 2, but this website is trying to bait people and make it seem like season 2 might happen.

How does this have an 8.3 but by the looks of the comments it deserves a 7.5 or less...
If people are using stars to rate it
8.3 = 4 out of 5 stars

That is why I started using the stars to gauge my rating, which made me utilize the lower scores more (which I never used before). I used to give anything average a 7, which when converted into stars in actually 3.5. I realized that that is too high of a score.

The 15 countries were only those that had TKEM in the top 10. But just because TKEM is not in the top 10 list…
Oh, lol! I thought you meant that they have polls and people respond saying they watched or not.

Nielsen doesn't use polling systems. They give their sample 2 devices

1. Fixed in-home people meter: When viewers tune in on TV, the Nielsen meter identifies a unique sound inaudible to the human ear, known as a watermark. Watermarks are embedded in nearly all programs, and Nielsen meters capture the program you’re watching every two seconds.

2. portable people meter (PPM): device that individuals carry with them that collects media exposure outside of the home. A microphone in the device captures watermarks and sends the viewing data back to Nielsen each night. For the purposes of TV measurement and ratings, Nielsen uses PPMs to measure TV viewing when viewers are watching programs in places like bars, restaurants, gyms and hotels.

I never mentioned historical data. I don't care about Wikipedia's response. Respond to the points I raised, not use Wikipedia's points as if I said them. Don't argue about something I never said.

This system is still flawed though, you could own more than one phone or use the phone from someone else temporarily.
I know. But at least admins are trying to improve it and make it more accurate.

I never spoke about Wikipedia. You can’t just randomly bring up your discussions with other people on Wikipedia to prove your claim.

Being ranked on Flixpetrol is not significant because it is inaccurate as I have given you multiple evidence in the comments above. Also, it is you who keeps ignoring Nielsen and TNms, I just said flixpetrol is inaccurate, unreliable, and insignificant. You should just accept that if you are going to use flixpetrol ratings, you have to accept Nielsen and TNms ratings too, otherwise, you are being biased.

Also, you did not answer my question 3 times now. If Nielsen is no good by the article you gave me, what about TNmS? It also shows that the series has bad ratings. I’d say they are at least more reliable and accurate as 2 different companies have almost the same ratings from different samples. Not even Korean production companies dispute Nielsen and TNmS ratings as they have a long history in measure viewership in Korean and are more reliable than a website that popped up a few months ago.

It still doesn’t get info from all countries so it can’t be accurate. You say Nielsen only uses a sample to measure, then flixpetrol is doing the same because it doesn’t collect all counties’ data.

Also, you did not answer my question. If Nielsen is no good, what about TNmS? It also shows that the series has bad ratings.

And that is why people are saying it is unreliable. On flixpetrol, I saw it changed from #15 to #16 and back to #15 multiple times. They also need a disclaimer to say their ratings are not official and are unrelated to the streaming websites. See "Ranking points are not associated with the streaming platforms and they do not represent the actual numbers of viewings or sales."
That is why Nielsen ratings are more reliable as they do not change and don't need a disclaimer. After the series end, you will get the Nielsen average rating and it will never change.

Also, you did not answer my question. If Nielsen is no good, what about TNmS? It also shows that the series has bad ratings.

I'm sorry, but that is clearly false. They don't change daily. You can only have 1 rating per episode/part. You don't come an hour later and the episode has a different rating.

You have TNmS ratings too.

That is why I’m saying if Nielsen ratings don’t matter to them, then flixpetrol shouldn’t too. Trying to discredit Nielsen as unreliable and trusting flixpetrol only shows that they are biased. They don’t want real data, they want only what sits well with their narrative. That is why it is pointless to arguing with them.

I've gone ahead and distilled the Defender's comments and the Critics and here is what I have. Maybe defenders…
What news and critics are saying. Might be good to add their points too in a third section.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King:_Eternal_Monarch#Reception
The Korean Herald explained that the series fails to present adequate explanation of the parallel universe to the audience who complained of the similarity of the two different worlds, while International Business Times stated that the development of the plot, the editing, and the forced scenes were the reasons the series failed to increase its ratings. William Schwartz from Hancinema noted that, “viewers have taken issue with the inconsistent intuitive intelligence shown by the main character .... particularly the unapologetic extent to which characters from the fantasy universe play on uncomfortable gender tropes,” in addition to criticizing the direction by indicate that “the lack of coherent direction has also dampened enthusiasm for the drama.”

Plenty of news agencies and critics are criticizing the drama, but I have yet to find one that actually praises it and reviews it favorably. It is always articles indicating it is popular but never talk about what makes this series good, what are the positive points.

If it needs to be stated for each day it means that this achievement is even more insignificant. Since I did not speak about Nielsen ratings, proving them to be unreliable still doesn’t negate that Flixpetrol is even more unreliable.
If Nielsen is no good, what about TNmS? It also shows that the series has bad ratings.
If Korean ratings don’t matter to you, then international ratings should also not matter. You can’t have a good argument against people if you do that, cause it shows that you are biased toward the data that fit your opinion.
