Depended on your country. In some countries, using a VPN is illegal, but I doubt police would be coming to your house and arresting you, when there are hundred or thousands of people using it too.

Most pirating websites, including ondramanice, don't sub content. They just take the subs from DF, Viki, Kacowa, Netflix, OnDemandKorea, and VIU.

You might face legal problems if you host shows that are not licensed. Kissasian was fines 1 million dollars because of that. I would not recommend this if you don't own a company and willing to invest and license content.

It was not licensed in my region, so I'm not affected by this. Moreover, when I used a VPN to watch there, I hated their subtitles. They were very westernized compared to Viki's litral subtitles. I also prefer Viki cause they sub the background songs.

Actually, Viki does hire some translators. I have seen an ad where they were looking for a Chinese to English translator.
Also, recently, I have seen many shows (Example: Secret Mother) being segmented and translated by staff.

Now that DF is gone from MDL, I really wish official licensed shows from vlive, YouTube, and KBS World's YouTube channel would be embedded instead. They are free and would bring a lot of users.

Also another problem was that the show was aired at 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m on a Friday. People are out drinking or with friends and the children are asleep.
