Person Kim Woo Bin
Cause of cancer: Uncontrollably fond(you know, when you act, you have to get into the roll that you're playing...…
I'm sorry but that has nothing to do with a drama. Nasopharynx cancer (the one he has) has a higher chance of developing in East Asian people. Also, I believe he smokes, which increases the chances of developing this type of cancer.

Filming a drama for two mouths doesn't cause cancer.

There is no season 2. Where did you read that? This is all just 1 season split into 3 parts.
Unfortunately, the link doesn't change when we fix the title. Someone first submitted it as season 3 and it was approved, so the link is stuck like that.

Wtf? They'll have us wait 2 months for ep 13-18? Why even split the drama into 3?
Filming officially started on December 5, 2018 and Joong Ki went to filmed overseas in Brunei on February 24, 2019, meaning that the filming took place just a few months. Also, there is no info about them finishing filming, so they might be filming even now and the production company then needs time for post-production, which takes time.
The problem is with tvN/Netflix deciding to air the drama while the drama filming and post-production did not finish.

They had to cut it because the production company went over budget. Season 1 was supposed to be 8 episodes but…
They already filmed season 2 and spent a lot of money on it, and now they are in the post-production step (add music and edit the episodes), so why would Netflix not release it? They will release it for sure, but we have to wait.

I don't like how Netflix deals with kdramas. Just like 'My first first love' they cut the drama in half and…
They had to cut it because the production company went over budget. Season 1 was supposed to be 8 episodes but had to be cut. When Netflix splits the drama into seasons, they gauge people reception of the first season, to see if they should continue or not. Why would they invest in a long drama if it will be not successful? Moreover, having seasons is much better because the cast and staff can rest, and not be forced to film weekly with poorer quality to get the episodes done.

I suggest watching The King of Dramas to see how hard it is to air weekly dramas.

what is it with korean drama sequels always having a different cast, tho lmao.
It is a different story. It would be weird to have the same cast.
