Many drama are international hits. If it is on Netflix....I think the international view somewhat counts....
"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" was an international hit. It was not well received in Korea, so no remake of the 2nd season of original Chinese series.
If you are interested in this show, just know that these 3 parts are not meant to be the full series, but only…
True, I keep searching for confirmation that there are actually 3 seasons but all I find is a single Korean article about the stock price of Studio Dragon (and a line that says there are 3 seasons without further elaboration) and a questionable Instagram account. What I'm sure about is that the actors have not agreed so far for another season. There looks to be another season if its funded but if not the preview is just enough to make us question the endinghttps://www.thereviewgeek.com/arthdalchronicles-s1e18review/
it'll be hard to watch some dramas if Netflix keeps doing that... honestly, one of the reasons why people like…
jTBC is the ones splitting it, since there are new laws in South Korea decreasing working hours. This is for the best since a lot of staff die because they are rushing dramas. Moreover, actors are really overworked, go sleepless for the filming weeks, and suffer mental issues from this. If you love the actors, production crew, and drama you wouldn't want them to suffer, and would patiently wait. People need breaks, just like you get in summer holidays and payed leaves if you are working. The would go to their family and rest, instead of spending weeks in the filming locations. Moreover, when they split the drama, they get more money from sponsors and ads to fund the next part. They gauge the response for the first season and decide if they would make another one, instead of wasting money filming a long drama and then not have the money to pay the actors and production staff (which is a big issue in South Korea now).
Netflix is only streaming and subbing it, they are not the ones producing it. They have no control over splitting or not.
What? This is a tag about the content of the drama, not the production. The tag "Rape"doesn't mean an actor/actress was raped in real life. Just as "animal abuse" tag means an animal was abuse in the drama, not real life.
Seriously, if you're not into dark dramas with deeper themes just stick to your usual cute and romantic and shallow…
What is going on? For what I can see, only 2 people rated it 1. I don't think that is enough to influence the score and it is their opinion. We should not villainize someone for how they rate.
8.5 is actually good and it will change when the drama finishes and everyone rate it.
Netflix needs to get off this putting out 6 eps of a Kdrama at a time. It's a bad strategy and maybe part of why…
Production and actors need more time to perfect their work and give you good quality shows. They are already overworked to get episodes out each week. They are people and need time to rest, too. Moreover, there are cases were staff members die because of overwork. Patience from fans requires nothing while overworking the staff and actors and causing them lack of sleep and stress could take their lives.

We need to wait until Netflix and tvN officially confirm it.

Update: Episode 3 had another killed cat.
