Hi, I'm one of the staff here.
I want to explain to you that you should not write a review before watching all of the episodes. It is against the rules. What I'm asking you to do is to delete the review (click on edit and you will find the delete button in that page), or copy it to the comments or the Episode Reviews or create a new drama discussion about why to watch it and then delete the review. So please follow the rules and after watching the whole drama you could freely write a review.
Filled with plot holes, would not recommend this movie. Instead, I would recommend the manga. The anime is good but they change many thing. The manga is more intense and suspenseful.
Someone explain to me why this drama is more popular than Love in the Moonlight
I watched Love in the Moonlight, but I have to say that Scarlet Heart is much better. LITM is good but lacks something. In addition, the element of gender bender is overused in k-dramas.
In my opinion, Scarlet Heart is like a drug, in which I experiencing withdrawal when I'm not watching. It has something that makes be eager to watch the next episode, unlike LITM.
Actually, LITM is more popular in Korean while Scarlet Heart receives a mere 6-7% in viewership, which is unfortunate.
And unlike what other users say, I'm not watching it because of the bath scene. Instead, I'm watching for the plot, the acting, and our lovely broken prince Wang So.
In addition, Scarlet Heart brought back my eagerness and restless to watch the next episode, which I have lost a long time ago. This is the perfect show if you are experiencing a Drama Slump.

I have a cuestion: has the king multiple wifes? And are all of them queens? I don´t know nothing of Korean history…
The king can have multiple wifes and concubines.
However, the main queen is usully called Dowager Empress/The Mother Queen (황태후) while all other wifes are just called Empresses.

I hear there are some bad reviews and complaints about this drama some places online. What's that all about??…
People are complaining about IU's acting. Her acting is fine, they just dislike her for the song she made last year. Plus, it is competing with another historical show at the same time and it is affecting the ratings.
Also, I read that Korean's complained about not understating the story.
Just complete nonsense.
I seriously will cry. I want to watch episode 5 so bad, but I'm waiting for the subs. I have been facing my computer for an hour now, refreshing every few minutes.
Why do the Korean ratings keep going down?! I want to see this show be successful. It is so good. They should change the time slot, this show is competing with Love in the Moonlight. Both of which are Historical shows.

I know you want to help, but it is not working. Instead, send a message to Skye-N-Rain asking him to delete the reviews.

Both the Korean and Chinese drama are an ADAPTION of the novel.

So don't worry too much, since it will change.
