Like many I’m guessing, I started watching Luoyang because of Wang Yibo. Despite what others may think, I truly think Yibo is a great actor. I was interested how he portrayed his character development in Luoyang. I’m so happy that I’ve discovered the other two main characters, and the supporting actors as well. Gao Bin Zhu’s (Huang Xuan) character has already shown so much development while beautifully fitting into the story. I haven’t felt like any of the character development was forced or awkward. It has all flowed so well within the story, allowing the viewer to get to know Gao Bin Zhu in an authentic way. Song Qian’s, Wu Si Yue character also has her character development throughout. The supporting characters are so refreshing from some of the tense scenes. I love the small bits of comedy throughout. I think the only place where I disagree with most comments online that I’ve read is the “Er Lang! Er Lang!” I don’t think it’s adorable most times, even though I think Song Yi has done great with the role. I do wish Liu Ran had more speaking parts. Overall, I think Luoyang is very well done. I like it much more than I originally thought I would. I can’t wait for the final 3 episodes!
