I can't stand the FL, she definitely needs more acting lessons. She has the same expression in all the scenes, I think she sees it at bewildered innocence but it's not. I would have screenshot all her scenes and you would have thought that they were the same one. I found myself shouting at the screen trying to give her directions on what expressions she should do. Even small roles actors had better skills, actually everyone was better at acting than her.
Anyhow, the drama is decent, not very good but not terrible. The story isn't that well written but the acting skills from everyone except the FL was excellent. If you have the time and nothing else to watch give it a try.

I seldom give a 10 but this drama earned the 10/10 review because everything was perfect

The cousin's husband thing was the least of our worries however the incest was worse. That damned sister wanted to marry àll of her brothers and ended up having children from one 🤮🤢

it was ridiculous how they wanted to convince us that a 40 something actress can be a 15 year-old silly girl with drooping eyelids.
and then they continued to revolve the entire scenes /costumes around her... even the empress herself didn't dress as well as the leading actress.
they portrayed her as a saint when everyone is wicked and selfish and added insult to injury by having her give inner monologues like it was the 80s.
had to drop it by episode 20.

I totally agree with your comment about needing a review of the entertainment industry after so many people suffered from depression. The industry itself is causing young and promising people to feel so overwhelmed and inadequate which in turn let them fall in depression.
My hart goes to his family and friends and I hope he finds peace in the afterlife.

This drama was one of the best dramas i have ever watched in my entire life. I fell in love with ALL characters not a single one was lacking in their acting skills. The music, scenes, dialog, plot...everything was amazing and on point. I cried and laughed and watched it twice which i seldom do.Thank you cast and production for such a wonderful gift

i'm surprised its rating on kisskh isn't above 8.5. i only finished 10 episodes and waiting for the drama to finish in order to continue watching but it is very good and should garner more ratings.
Loved the acting especially Lee Young Ae, she made the character so real for me
