okay i decided to watch this on a random night, was it disgusting ? yes a 100%, but was it a bad movie ? actually no. The first plotwist was more surprising than the "bigger one" to me, simply because i expected more for the reason WHY you would imprison someone and haunt them for so long, only to find out that it was because they started (by mistake) a rumour abour him+his sister that was ACTUALLY TRUE, the rumour wasnt even a lie so did Dae-su really deserve to be imprisoned and forced into incest himself ?? that's so extreme man idk 😭

This is hands-down my fav on-going BL currently. I haven't been this eager to follow something every week in so long !!

i sometimes watch shows with weird / controversial plot lines, but they should at least be fun or interesting to watch. This one was not.

Not only was it boring, the main character was soooo dense and acting foolishly at every chance. But what was the message that the drama was trying to convey even ? "it's fine if your cousin kisses you, how about marrying them ?", "you're 34 ? you're already a grandma then" "You can date your student as soon as you're not their teacher anymore it's okaay" all of these are wrong and if you think otherwise then please educate yourself on the subject :,)

i am all for age-gap romances but this was just...wrong ?? I don't get all the good reviews, did we watch the same show ? a barely-18 and 34 years old is NOT an ok age-gap, no matter the genders, and PLEASE do not kiss/marry your cousins 😭

i would recomend you to give the original Japanese version a chance, the pacing is better and i do think it has a fluffier vibe overall

currently rewatching this, i didnt remember park bo gum being THIS CUTE at the end of episode 7 lol, got me full-on blushing & giggling

i would say no, not REALLY necessary. You can definitly watch this as a stand-alone since they give a lot of flashbacks+dialogues that give context, BUT i believe its better to watch the series first, you'll get more into it and feel the nostalgia along with the characters :)
