Well not exactly, i'm actually calling him a bad friend lol. I don't recall all the details, but from what i remember :
1- He ignored all her texts/calls when she was abroad and needed a friend because he was jealous (could be excused as him trying to move on + not knowing that she was sick, but still ghosting your bestfriend, not very cool)
2- After she cameback and they again were acting like really close friends, the second he would get jealous or things didn't go his way he would again start ignoring her calls/texts, even when she was doing things to help him.
3- After they got together, he got all petty about her just CONSIDERING going abroad to fulfill her dreams.
These are the main 3 scenes that really stuck with me, so basically as a boyfriend he's fine-could-be-better, as a feiend tho he wasn't that great :,)

anyone who watched the original japanese version could tell me if this one is just as good / worth the watch ? (or even better maybe ? lol)

i just rewatched this, and tbf she had every write to be mad, her husband was cheating on her with her friend lol

Yes i can understand her point of view, but in a long-term relationship it's normal to have ups and downs, the most important point for me was that he didn't give up on her or their relationship, obviously when taking care of a loved one who's going through such hardhsips it's hard to be on top of it all the time. Maybe they just didn't showcase the negatives enough in the flashbacks ? They kept hinting at him cheating for exemple, but turns out he didn't and then they had a fight and that's it she left him, broke the engagement and went back home, like you said it's a bit over-the-top but it is a Kdrama so yeah ahah
But i really don't think he was the one to share the news with her co-workers, they never hinted at that hm
Anyway, it's nice exchanging opinions on a kdrama with a fellow watcher, i hope you're enjoying your viewing session ! :)

Yes that's true, but his personal family problems can't excuse his attitude towards other people, the female lead also had many problems with her family yet she was still there for him 100%, i won't go into details in-case you haven't gotten far enough yet. ^^

This is probably one of Haein's worst characters ever, don't get me wrong i'm not talking about his acting he did great, but the character itself is so unlikable ?? he's so self-centered and treats the girl (his childhood friend/bestfriend mind you) soooo bad.
And on that note : WHY did she not get back with her fiancé i'm so confused ? just a few episodes before he cameback she said she still loved him, he didn't cheat on her, he was there for her when she was sick and he cameback all the way to korea to apologize and get back with her. Why did they even break-up actually it was so unclear, because they had one fight ??
Last thing i'm wondering about is : Why did Moeum's mom react so badly to her dating the journalist ? i feel like him being a father is not reason enough for such a harsh reaction but maybe that's just me ? :,)

This was definitly not as bad as people make it to be, it was a good healing drama. With that said i also have some negatives to share so i'll do so in spoilers lol

i went into this expecting a female version of Only friends (the original season), and the first episodes kinda hinted at some similarly messy plots, but as the show went on it just felt like a bunch of nothing- Too bad, this had so much potential with this really nice cast but oh well.

Hi, i just rewatched Business proposal and i'm a bit confused as to what you're referring to ? This drama came out years before K-pop demon hunters, how did they reference it in episode 8 ? did i miss something ?

Rewatched this one again for the first time since a long time, and i just remembered why i usually stop around episode 8 : This is one of the rare cases where i don't like the romance plot in a Drama, i always thought Ito Misaki and Kame's chemistry was nowhere to be found as a couple (although they had great chemistry in the first few episodes as mentor-mentee / friends so when they got together and it was NOT it i got so confused ?? 😭😭) Like this show must have one of the worst kiss scenes ever, in the very last episode the kiss seems so forced and we can even seee them awkwardly struggling (why didnt' they cut that part lol)

Anyway, my point is everytime i rewatch it i remember why i like the show. It's not because of the romance but because of the story itself, and as someone who also works in communication/advertising i hope i can one day be as fulfilled as Fujii-san, having work and romance not as a priority but as a "Suppli" !

Just finished my first rewatch after years, and man this drama is still soooo good. It's happy, it's sad, it's emotional and nostalgic, just so good. Definitly my favorite from Yoona's. Highly recomend !

For all the people complaining about the "bad kiss" on the last episode, Can we for a second use our thinking hats and maybe consider two things :

1. The actors are portraying HIGHSCHOOLERS, most likely this being Kanata/Akira's first serious relationship (+ with a man), so why would we ever expect the script to ask for a passionate, tongue-filled kiss between these two ??
2. Also the actors themselves are not that old either and pretty knew to the industry, let's give them some slack since they otherwise protrayed the characters very well.

And i know some BLs are notorious for their very steamy NC scenes (which as an adult, i also enjoy at times), but let's be real this show is clearly going for a softer vibe from the very start

it's crazy how i had this show shelved on my "plan to watch" for months, and yesterday i guess the spirit of Khun Thee took over me and i binged it like there was no tomorrow lol

Although at first i mainly started watching for WilliamEst crumbs, but i did end up enjoying the whole show. It was such a fun watch, i was smiling and giggling all by myself at every episode !
