What I liked:
- From the very start, the friendship between the ml and his friends was just amazing. The way they stuck together and helped one another was really heartwarming to see and I love that they stayed that way till the end.
- A perfect match, honestly. The leads just have so much chemistry in my eyes. It felt natural. And I love that they could depend on each other while also being confident and strong on their own too. It really felt like a healthy relationship towards the end.
- It’s my second time watching the female lead after lighter and princess. But this felt like such an upgrade. She was also really good in l&p but wow, she really plays the mature woman really well too! Her outfits - stunning! Visuals - stunning! She’s so good at playing a strong character while also showing a sweet, loving side to her.
- This is my first time watching this male lead and I am impressed. It all felt natural and he did well.
- The nostalgic feel to this drama is really nice.
- I quite liked some of the ost too! Some of the instrumentals played in like the awkward or quiet moments were cute and playful. It felt intentional and well thought out.
What I didn’t like:
- The death of the policeman’s wife. Every time if came up, especially at the end, I just cried. I just felt to sad to not have been able to see them married, happy and alongside the leads. They deserve so much better 😭😭 she was so sweet that at the start it felt too good to be true and I thought she was a villain😭
- The auditing side was a little confusing. Since I’m not in the profession there were quite a few things I didn’t understand and it sometimes felt like too much but I think I got the gist.
- Why couldn’t the ML’s other friend also get together with someone :(. He seems like a sweet guy and it would’ve been interesting but I do get it. It probably would’ve seemed irrelevant to the plot.
Overall, it was good. I don’t tend to watch modern dramas but I did enjoy this. I love romance mixed with some mystery and action. It was a good watch. It’s not necessarily a drama I would watch again, it is fairly memorable and I don’t think I could go though their pain once again😭
