A Fluffy Rom-Com for the Comfort Zone & Bad Weather
Maybe I’m a little biased 😉 because I’ve been an Omega X fan for many years, but I honestly think I’m being fair when I give this show a high star rating, simply because I really enjoyed it.
I know a lot of people say the story lacks depth and that the second couple should have had more screen time and room to develop. And I get that. But personally, I was actually happy with how it turned out.
For me, it was a full-on rom-com. And we all know rom-coms are supposed to be fluffy, and lovable, with a touch of comedy. This series fit those criteria perfectly. It was cute and simple, and the acting from all of them was very convincing.
By the way, I would love a spin-off where the roles are switched like the dreaming episode 😂. That would be hilarious and adorable at the same time. The absolute epitome of a rom-com. Kim Kang Min can act amazingly as a fool in love, and Kevin could totally pull off the cutest idol-puppy character ever.
I’d also wish for a spin-off focusing on the second couple. With them, we could get a story with more depth. A story about how love can help us or destroy us, how far we’re willing to go for the people we love, and how hard we’re willing to fight for our happiness. That would be the perfect contrast: same universe, but different genres and emotions.
I really hope to see all of them again.
