I’m not sure how GMMTV is involved in this. Like GMMTV has a lot of reasons to be hated but y’all stay hating them for the wrong reasons. Leng did this with CHANNEL 3. The same channel that released the ORIGINAL and very much LOVED lakorn also called Love Destiny many years ago. Many of us watching this already came in expecting it not to give the full story since you would know if you bothered researching the original from 2018 was 15 episodes (40 uncut episodes), a second season, AND a film. Your anger should be with channel 3 if anything.

Can’t really be a copy when it’s a remake of a Thai lakorn that predates LUAT. If anything LUAT is a copy of the original Love Destiny.

The amount of times I’ve had to pause and take a break from this episode. I don’t know what we’re watching. I don’t know the point of this. Y’all talked shit about My Stubborn but that had plot and a storyline. This is just bad. All we wanted was pheromones, mpreg, and nesting and more and we got wasted screentime on an absentee dad pretending he’s a dad and some guy who wasted a majority of the season talking about his plan only to get bitten as “punishment” and not punched.

We are 10 mins into a 42 min ep before the finale and an absentee dad is telling his sons man eBay to do when he didn’t even raise his own son or tell him about ABO. I’m tired.

At the end of the day I said what I said and that is why the author of Runaway last year called y’all rude BL fans out in the first place for flooding her comments calling her GL the fucking GL Khemjira. Y’all stay being rude and weird which is also why tpop singers now calling y’all out for flooding their comments saying they look like your fave BL and kpop singer. Just like this for what it is and stop typing a whole bunch of nothing like the above to defend yourself when rightfully called out.

I don’t really see any similarities between them. Yea spirituality is the base but once you watch enough Thai series it’s the norm in many series whether lakorn, GL, or BL. Characters from Runaway and Khom Khlang series have their own struggles and regardless of the spoilers for Runaway out I don’t see why folks wouldn’t still watch it was amazing. The novel also is more in depth. The author at the time had to call out BL fans constantly calling her GL the GL Khemjira since her novel was published first and this is all Thai culture so it didn’t start with Khemjira and it won’t end with Khemjira. The novel for Khom Khlang is also now out in English just like Runaway’s.

No this is just normal for Thai series in general. Y’all said this about Runaway too and the novelist had to remind y’all her novel was released first and that this genre isn’t new to Thai series.

There is no “GL version” of Khemjira. Y’all said that with Runaway and the novelist had to call folks out telling folks not only her novel was published before Khemjira but also this genre isn’t new in Thai series.

This isnt Khemjira. Thailand has been doing supernatural series for decades and if anything Runaway’s novel was published before Khemjira.

I’d say if anything it’s more related to Runaway since that novel was published before Khemjira but also BL and GL doing spirtual stuff isn’t pioneering since this is apart of Thai culture and lakorns have been doing stuff like this for decades.

Shades still the best but after that first ep this GL is a contender.

Yep. I’ll never forgive fandom for being ok with that BL but then choosing to get mad over that photoshoot which was less problematic. Also folks must be new here because they should look at classic BL like Make It Right that was even worse. And the remake has a 16 year old with a 21 year old actor.

Great first episode. I expect nothing less from one31 and hope they do even more GL.
