I think you do not fit the demographic for the show though, because everything below 7.5 rating on your list would be at the top end for me and you 7.5+ would be not on my list or in mid-low tier hahaha. So maybe that is why your so critical of these 2 shows? Goblin technically is good but near the end falls off but for its time and to date, its still one of the best fantasy made. Many have tried to copy but really f*** it up somehow. Which is why i would argue its worthy of rating. Secretary Kim doesnt seem like your type, its too too fluffy and stuff. Iotnbo didnt go deep into mental health yes but it tried its best to stay on the topic. It wasnt all fun and comedy there was quite serious stuff and the fairy tale part was cool addition. At the end of the day it wasnt a medical drama and if it did try to be one i think it wouldnt get attention. Her outfits were 100000% over the top, i really didnt like them too. But this is all minor stuff compared to pacing, writing, acting etc.

Hmmm, IOTNBO had an amazing cast and sang tae's acting with the mental health theme just hit it home for me and a lot of people. It wasn't a typical rom-com kdrama which is why I don't get how some people think it's overhyped. It was special and that's why it got all the ratings.

The fluff was the selling point and it's about a secretary so there isn't a lot you can do with story. So as a fluff watcher it's rated really well but that doesn't make it overrated right. Because for its genre, it did its job as a rom-com.
It's insane to see Secretary Kim, Goblin and IONTBO are above Itaewon class, CLOY and My Secret Romance but it's even worse that W, Moon Lovers and My roommate is a gumiho are far below them. The last 3 deserve to be ranked top 3. Kim and Goblin are timeless classics and IOTNBO was so powerful. Yikes with the voting, I'm confused. Popular /= you have to hate on it. This is a bit misleading. The drama is fictional and borrows middle eastern culture just like common korean dramas borrow from eastern culture and buddhism, taoism etc. And you don't speak for all muslim women, maybe in your locality it's like that but many modern muslim women wear scarves freely, instagram can attest to that. Nowhere does it say that you have to cover up completely, it's a choice. It's widely known that islam is practiced differently according to ones region. There are variants and they're all ok.
