I really liked this movie. It had this pleasant calm atmosphere.

Btw: Taiichi is sooo cuute. His face is so adorable. I felt like I wanted to adopt him during the whole movie lol

Manami was treated much too kindly, she was as unhinged as Katsumi and yet at the end he was shown as a monster and she just got forgiven (also, Katsumi's life was much harder than hers, with the psycho father he had no chance to be normal)

Exactly. I agree with everything you wrote.

Unfortunately, that's true that Asians try to add romance everywhere but there are dramas without romance eg. Beyond evil, Stranger, Signal, Kingdom etc. All of them are great, mainly because they did not add unecessary romantic plot.

There are women who don't like romance, like me ;)

I don't even know if I want to finish this drama now, especially because I'm pretty sure they will want to redeem her, which she does not deserve
