Yes there are a couple things wrong with this drama! The romance: why are the female love interests in these dramas…
Is there actually a lot of romance here? Will it make me cringe reaally hard? Lol I hate dramas with romance, that is why I usually avoid the ones with "romance" tag but this drama seems pretty interesting so maybe I should actually watch it.
I usually hate romance in dramas and avoid it at all cost but here I was shipping Ai and Azuki sooo much, even though their relationship is obviously not a main point of this drama. I hope they ended up together, which is a bit suggested by their messeges to each other at the last episode (as somebody in the comments translated).
Finished! It took me 2 years to watch and I'm glad I finally did. I loved the story, the characters, the cast,…
Na Yi Je is definitely not a good guy, he's no better than antagonists, no matter what his reasons are the fact that he does not see a problem with causing suffering to others or even killing them for his gain shows he's very sadistic.
It's an interesting drama bc there are no good guys there, everyone is twisted in their own way way, the ml is as sadistic as the antagonists
But my question is: why didn't Lee Jae Joon kill Na Yi Je? I mean staging some sort of accident would be pretty easy for him, it did not work with his brother but if he killed Na Yi Je at the beginning when he started to suspect him, nobody would even do anything about it.
That's why I think this drama is a bit naive, in real life Lee Jae Joon would win a hundred times with his money and power.
I'm at ep.2 and what I don't get is why everybody in the comments blames the children for acting like psychopaths while their parents are actually acting like that too, where did you expect them to learn being different? Lol
I think episodes 25ish-40 were the most interesting and consistent. I liked them too because there was a lot of focus on Ba Ye and Zhang Rishan and those two are my favorites. I don't even know what is happening in a few last episodes, it was so chaotic.
Why is that weird? He’s not that much older than her, they’re not related. Just because you used to know someone…
Should you not mark it as spoiler? So ummm yes? I still find it weird, I watched tge whole drama and loved but this part for me was weird so I skipped that. You don't have to agree with me but it does not change my opinion. It's ok to have different opinions on different subjects. In my opinion they could have made this part better, that's all.
Am I the only one who finds the romance kind of disgusting? I don't even mind the age difference that much but the fact that he knew her when she was a child and took care of her like an older brother but later they end up dating? Very weird...
I really liked both seasons but wasn't a big fan of the fact that he decided to not be a king. I was actually waiting for that. And I hope there will be no romance in season 3, it would destroy the whole series for me.
Which one? The highschool girl? When he broke in her place the first time. he didn’t know she was kidnapped.…
Thanks for answering but it actually does not matter anymore I already watched the full drama and I really liked it. My fav character is for sure Dong Jae (yep he's a jerk but I usually like shady characters like him) so I'm going to watch season 2 and see how it turns out
I'm at episode 5, can sb tell me why ML does not wear gloves and just leaves his fingertips at victim's house? It's seems pretty stupid considering he's suposed to be smart and he's a prosecutor. Is it explained later? And why did police not check if the victim is alive? Should this not be the first thing they do? Police tends to act idiotic in dramas but that's just too much lol
Btw: what is the novel's title?

I agree with all of you, Ba ye and Rishan were the best part of this show for me too.
Oh and Yi is a great guy
