I had high hopes but already at episode 4 and I still can't like Lee Ji Ahn. She's a parasite and I can't agree…
I felt exactly the same at that point! She infuriated me and I was stressed out watching it. But it makes the later progression all the more beautiful. If you can hold out for 1-2 more episodes, it should get dramatically better. It was really incredible how things shifted.
he was so amazing in taxi driver but then I started watching Signal and I found his reactions to be over the top.…
I know what you mean, though I always took it in stride as being part of the character - emotionally high strung, a bit flubbering, tense and overeager. That was my first impression of Park Hae Young. Then after learning his backstory and why he became a cop, it made even more sense. And I feel his character in part worked as a foil to calmer, older detectives in the main cast.
Not really making an argument here, just wanted a share this perspective. :)
I watched the first three episodes and I can't get into it properly - trying to give it a chance, but I find myself being bored most of the time because the interesting bits are so spread out. (I think the comedy is not working for me here? I don't know.)
I actually think the genre tags here threw me off so I expected something completely different, and not a romantic action comedy.
I just did not understand why they could save Ma Rin's life (though we are not sure how long they managed to live…
Oh I totally agree...! I liked the show enough to forgive it those little plot devices/characters making bad decisions. :-D And I see you did too - I actually pretty much agree with your original comment above. :)

That's a good question! I think the main difference is that they were able to escape the death from the accidents, but with Se Young's dad the problem was that he was deliberately murdered, and that's why their attempt to save him failed. They changed fate but then the killer counteracted and changed it again.
I watched Black and after that ending I'll never watch anything by this author ever again.
Because after being confused with the ending I read up on her, and it turns out that she likes writing cruel, sad endings. (And she actually wanted to make Black's ending even worse than it was.) Not my cup of tea.
Amazing start and then in the last third it becomes hard to watch because of how infinitely selfish and stupid the FL is. Her thoughtless casual cruelty toward her daughter has no bounds, it's heartbreaking.
My heart goes out to Ha-nee and Dae-o. Son Ho Jun is phenomenal as always, he excels in potraying flawed characters I can emphatize with. <3 There were many ways this could've turned out better, but I'm still glad I watched it because I got to enjoy another drama with SHJ in a major role. :)

No offense meant, but my point is, romance is not a genre exclusively reserved for young ppl, so it really depends on one's perspective...
That being said, I'm cool that this is not a romance!
