Ohh the way this novel is on my radar yet i only picked it up right before the filming starts because lots of reviewers lashings on this ML. And whichhhhh my one regrets for listening hahhah.

This man is a man of principle and rationality. Though he got played and tricked into believing our FL as the villain, i love how he got his character growth. When he realized he got tricked yet again, he still tried to protect her oh who the f*ck wrote he gave her a divorce letter when lihuaiyu who did that oh i hate yall unhonest reviewers sm.

I love how he admits his past mistakes and tried his best to make amends of it and the fact that he even acknowledged it.

And when he make sure those who wronged FL get double the taste of what theyve done to her (very typical of ML in any romance theme) yet the way he handles it so rationally is what making him looks sooooooo 🔥🔥🔥. He didnt leave anybody out even admitting that the reason why hes out there overthrowing the nations out of his personal vendetta like broooooo he tricked everyone including us yepp bet everyone thinks hes doing it to quell the war including lhy but nahhhh this men right here. 😋😋

Didnt see much of WXY acting aside from the hit drama the double, im def going to lurk on his reuters when they really start filming later hahahah.

This story were told from her perspective and god…how i wish to give her the entire love there is on this world.

Like theres sad and painful scenes but the one a only part where it makes me sob is when she realized how much the common people loved her. (Yeah im tearing up again)

How a young child forced to be an adult in a world of greedy people like imagine getting h*rrased by her own uncle at 12?!?! Wtf

All her choices might look crude and unruly, but what options does a young women without backings have left?

Lihuaiyu was a splendid character of wisdom and intelligent trying to guide her young little brother in governing a nation to prosperity and all she received in return was a d*ath yet even after that…the one that im really heartbroken was that even after all that she can be so…..forgiving.

Lihuaiyu is a character with a lot of small details with big actions, one part shes the grand princess the next shes a hooligans im really excited about how zrn going to bring this lovely character to live

Just done reading the entire novel since my precious nannan going to take on this project later. (Like finally after yearsss)

Idk after reading the final line from the final chapters and cooling down a bit from giggling and feeling so whole after finishing this story, i felt so happy yet…the bittersweet feelings when you just realized how the world is harsh towards a person just because she is….a women.

ANYWAYS, those angst 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 bet the actress zhang ruonan would slayyyyy it all. There are quite a lot angst part and the rumoured ML wxy has that cold and calm demeanour so its really easy to imagine them while reading the novel.

Also something that im quite surprised(?) is the amount of romance/intimate scenes in the novel. Oh there was a lottttttttt. Like yeah ik this is romance theme but compared to those i read and seen on drama adaptations, there are lotssss like lots of sweet moments for this novels and i hope director & screenwriters would try to at least insert as much as they can.

Another things that im really looking forward too is about who’s going to act as the Grand Princess male concubines!!! Like we have 4 as mains but theres moree than that and all their features are described as handsome especially qingxian so yall casting team better chose wisely. There wasnt also a prominent(?) second female lead in this story so i hope the new script wouldnt get tweeked as much as disrupting the entire plot where every arc centered around the main leads.
