I found the first episode pretty boring. The cast is fine, not my favorite though. The promised humor was weak. The story was original, but I had no motivation to watch more episodes. Has anyone had the same first impression, still finnished the show, and now thinks it is a must see k-drama?
Right? He was so wary of her and all of a sudden he's so loyal and "wants to protect her" like what gtfo
Exactly, he was scared of her leaving the village soon because the kids will be sad, still he is totaly fine when he finds out the kids plus his friends and family can actually get hurt because of her. It supports the romance but makes the story dumb.
Why would anyone hide from murderers in a kindergarten out of all the places in the world? And why would an overprotective father and a village hero guy overlooked them instantly for almost nonexistent chemistry with the FL? I liked this drama for somehow fresh atmosphere, kind of cute and new (for me) ML and stiffy FL (supports are all extremly annoying), but the plot is getting more and more stupid
3rd season has so many unanswered question1. The Group who recruits the professor in the real world knows about…
I was also wondering if it is a coincidence, that the father and the watchman look so alike, and had to look it up right away (the actors are different)
the first half was interesting, but in the second half I have lost the interest, the plot became a bit too much and I felt like some part are missing and some could have better been dropped
The first half of the drama was really good—I found myself laughing, giggling, and eagerly looking forward to…
I feel exactly the same. The first half was fun a refreshing, but the second half somehow became boring, average and hard to finish. Also, I´m still not sure if the FL was good or annoying.
Wow, the names might be fun, but such a good cast wasted on a middle european setting, such a mood killer:( the last ones were a disaster, maybe it looks exotic for Koreans (and convinient for the budget), but I hope the plot will soon move back far far away from my boring location
I am so mad at all the BL teases. lol. Liked it overall. Everyone did a great job, especially at irritating me…
Same here, so many unanswered questions, repetitive irritating scenes, characters and plot holes. I don´t even like chinese drama. Still, Lomon was worth watching this till the - unbelievable - end. Expectable thou, as they showed almost the whole drama in the opening and ending.
I rewatched this after a few years. I remembered liking it back then, and I became a fan of Rowoon later on in other dramas. The concept and overall atmosphere are still interesting. I mostly liked the cast and how the characters developed (well, except for the female lead, who gradually started to get on my nerves). But honestly, what a script! It’s extremely repetitive. Some episodes just circle around the same things again and again (and I don’t mean the parts that are intentionally styled that way or meant to be repeated). It didn’t even feel romantic or mysterious anymore, as the plot stopped moving forward. Not even Rowoon could save it. Usually, I get bored before a romance series ends—like, out of 16 episodes, at least 2 often feel unnecessary and stretched. In this drama’s case, the plot would’ve been fine without at least 4 episodes of constantly repeating and rehashing the obvious. The final "resolution" was quite unsatisfying as well.
I kind of liked this drama, although it doesn't have a very interesting plot and there is no promissed age gap, but the last 5 episodes or so became almost indigestible, the romance and the dialogues were too exaggerated and tiresome even for a kdrama. Still I finished it for Rowoon - despite being written too far from reality, this was his hottest character so far, in my opinnion.
I dropped Something in the rain because i couldn't stand listening to Save the last dance a thousand time per…
Exactly! I still have flashbacks about Stand by your man, it played over and over again...I had no idea the song you mentioned was sung by Bruce Willis though :D:D:D
I was not aware, but just from the first few episodes it was obvious this drama has to have something in common with Something in the rain...the director´s style is unique but not my cup of tea:( I guess it should look the most natural, like in real life, still I found the characters and conversations odd and stiff. Another clue/simmilarity to Someting in the rain was music, it annoyed me throughout the first drama and here it starts off likevise. So far, I found myself interested only in one topic - how stressful it must be for korean high schoolers trying to get accepted to good uni. Still it won´t be enought to keep on watching.
Is anyone else kinda unnerved by the grandfather? He's always calm and smiling, acting more like a butler/caretaker…
yep, he is suspicious, I just saw promo photos (the ones with curtains) and his picture suggests a physical strenght, I guess it is not just his ability to connect the wierd family?...actually, what interested me more in that picture is that there might be one more mysterious figure in Bok family
Mostly Soohyun's mom left the door open. She is showing signs of dementia and it looks like she went back to the…
That´s an interesting idea, the granny could have left the door slightly open without even realising it or remember it till now, when her health condition appears/gets worse. I tought they just wanted to add more salt into FL wounds by her mom being sick, but this would actually make sense why to show this information now and connect it with that particular day just before encovering the accident was unintentional (the baby boy did not see anything awful before being hit). The last scene with the talbet record was devastating... Also ML´s parents must have hidden the tablet as a future insurance, they knew the congressman could doublecross them at any moment, leave their son without treatment or anything, and soon after he did the same to the driver who killed ML´s mother.
I think the neighbor lady knew about the cheating thing and thats why she is looking at them weirdly..
Yeah, I actually suspected them only after the incident and inprisonment, but both of their personalities seemed to me kind of too idyllic or even dishonest from the very beginning
