Yeah, I actually suspected them only after the incident and inprisonment, but both of their personalities seemed to me kind of too idyllic or even dishonest from the very beginning

This made me realise, the neighbor had a simmilar style like the woman in the photo, she could look suspicious as a mistres too...still Yuri would make the plot more dramatic, also both her and husband seemed off from the very beggining. Well whatever, I hope the show starts to focus more on Eun Woo´s story :D

Ah, really thanks for info, I´ll check that:) I don´t remember it very much, as I speed-read the manga after the first TV season. The joker card appeared somehow at the end of the manga - when Arisu was fighting inside his head after Queen of Hearts broke him mentally. It was like the combination of final boss/his dad/fear of death/accepting life, a final confirmation that he did not want to stay and became the next king. Maybe, I got a wrong impression, it was kind of fast and unsatisfinig for my taste, but pretty manga-like, so I still considered the story finished.
What?!:D I kind of don´t understand why there is a S3. I read the manga, and considered it finished after they returned to the real world. The Joker card was kind of explained too, it was not that big deal.
Geez again? Like there are no other possible ways to release it...so far the drama is very nice and cute, with a good production and popular cast too, so why push it back to decrease the viewership >:-(
The topic was interesting, and despite all this drama felt quite refleshing. The ending was rushed and wierd, and somewhat uselessly opened. I suppose it was just ment to be a cliffhanger for the non-existing 2nd season. Ater reading some comments, I don´t believe, she would forget about the band by changing the future, only trying to avoid the conversation with someone uninvolved (at the first episode she rambled on inexperiencedly and thoughtlessly about everything). Even if she did forget, she was accompanied by her old colleagues and friends of the boys to remind her, so I would make even less sense.

Hmmm what a waste, I am usually bored by the last two episodes, as they tend to be just too long and too over-sweetened, but this was even a bit disappointing. I believe no one expected some deep ending in this drama, it was light and easy from the very beginning, and as a supernatural genre they had countless possibilities to break the course to bring ML back as a human, f**k open endings really...also the only big discovery was, that FL was the girl from Joseon:D then the 2fl was totally useless and the love, he waited for years, opened the coffin early for ML not to became human, and to make it right she would have to die for the second time, so than what was the point in him becoming the human again, to wait for FL for the third time or to enjoy the pain of burying her twice...seems like the script got eventually pretty tired...I hope the other Taecyeons project with zombies will be fun
...and it was still awkward but really interesting! I finished it fast, sometimes just skipped some political and cult-psycho parts, the young main leads were outstanding
I saw lots of kdrama and japanese drama and I like both - korean ones usually have high cost, more worldwide production, japanese are very often manga based and have different overall atmosphere... I finished both mentioned dramas very fast, as the plots were really interesting, but I prefer Alice. I was more captivated by the story. I even rawatched for missing details and finished the manga to find out the mystery of Borderlands. Also Yamazaki Kento is one of my most favourite japanese actors and it is easier for me to understand japanese :D Liking Squid Game´s characters took time (in fact I only choose two and got used to the others slowly), the topic was heavier, moreover because it could happen in reality. No sci-fi experiments, aliens, other dimensions or past lives, just raw unpleasant life ruled by money. As you say, the visual aspects and symbolism were very unique and easy to remember. Still for some reason I fell kind of pissed after the last episode and I am not sure, wheather I look forward to the next season :D South Korea´s recent popularity thanks to kpop and Parasite might contribute to kdrama´s success over Japanese drama as well. People suddenly find out that this Asian country has more to offer.
