It's not a bl movie but there's clearly a subtle romance between Chatra and Khem, their interactions are lgbt coded. If the intent was to make them friends there wasn't the need to do a romcom's sequel.
Watched the movie and what can I say other than it's really a great movie carried from at least 4 characters, Chatra is my favourite. It should've been longer, I wanted more dance/taphon scenes and ChatKhem scenes, but other than that it felt on point.
I don't know how people don't see the subtle romance between Chatra and Khem. It's not explicit but it's there in the way they look at each other, use the cat to comfort each other. The sexual innuendo of the kite scene, the way Chatra use the first excuse to go alone at the market with Khem. And even Chatra last wish is so romantic.
The cinematography was amazing for a thai movie, great work from the team. 9/10 for me!
