My fav characters were Lord Puchi, Matchmaker and Liu Ying demon princess.
I liked main lead couple but I felt really bad for second lead. He did go crazy at the end but like he suffered since childhood and after learning the truth his mother was unalived in front of him. And female lead didn't loved him. Doesn't justify what he did but still he was a good person. He really deserved a good ending.
Honestly I blame Heavenly Emperor and Empress for literally everything. Emperor was frkn root of the problem he was obsessed with Zifen causing her death and creating misunderstanding between her and water deity. He also got involved with 2nd leads mother only bcz she looked like Zifen, 2nd lead misery literally started from there. He ignored and overlooked her wife's wrong doings. While he never paid attention to his wife Empress. While Empress became like pure evil and cold hearted. She was the most annoying character. And bcz of her Sui he was like obsessed with main lead. I was really hoping for her character development but nvm.
I was most sad when Water and wind deity (female lead parents) died together. They were so pure and kind.
