The best thing about this movie is its title. The second best is the emotion it occasionally evokes, especially in the final shot. Beyond that, it suffers from the same issues I have with every Japanese adaptation of a novel—the tired presentation of inner monologues. This happens in anime too. The acting is average, the colors are sometimes so saturated that they look like a TikTok edit, and the plot is filled with clichés, making it predictable at every turn.
