Done with episode 10 and 11. I truly feel that Bailu can carry any drama with her natural beauty and her character and personality. Two episodes went by so fast. Beautiful and funny and lively. Love her.

That's the character and no matter who takes the role, it will be a strong female centric. So the question is not why she takes similar roles, instead, the question should be who will nail the role the best. And of course there's no ones other than Bailu. That's why the director chose her.
The Thai dubbed has done a great job. Matching everyone well. Love the drama and all characters so far.
I prefer thai dubbed over English sub. The only drama that I can see the difference is TTEOM, Lou Yunxi voice. The way he calls YXW. It does change significantly when Thai dubbed because Lou Yunxi express so much emotions in his voice that it missed off from the Thai dubbed not bringing the same feelings.
I don't really watch xianxian that much except for drama of my favorite actors and actress. I already watch this drama MM to episode 9. If you watch Bailu drama, she doesn't play weak roles. Her characters are strong, commitment, intelligent, bull, independent, etc. If you seen her drama in the past, it would be similar but in different character. She is also funny and lively. I love her natural acting skills...whether it is funny, sad, or happy. She does not play sad role for too long because she represents strength and is mostly very strong type of characters. Personally, I love MM. It is only 9 episodes so far but it moves fast. Not boring at all so far. I would say you give it a try and judge for yourself because your liking may be different. I also recommend Till The End Of The Moon if you haven't watch it. Bailu has many other great dramas to check out.
For me, if I like the main leads and their chemistry clicks then the drama will go fast. I don't criticize the story line, plot and script so much because I believe the director has done a good job. I wouldn't have done it better than them. Why I choose certain actors and actress because they have natural acting skills where I don't get bore watching them. If you are not a fan of certain actors and actress then they will annoy you even if the storyline is good. People just happen to like some actors and actress over some. There's nothing wrong with that. A great actor/actress will carry on the show whether the plot, story line, script is good or bad. But how can we tell if they are good or bad....not really. Rather it's our preference. No one will be satisfied 😁
