Well. As expected. Well done, Mochizuki-kun, well done.
The love story and the chemistry between Hiroki and Makoto are top-notch, the detective line is, well, acceptable. (The story itself is overly full of improbable coincidences, but hell, if IGAF XD)
The only thing I honestly didn't expect was the Aoi-Masakiyo scene. Cute though. So, so cute.
why r people suspicious of the delivery guy he's so cute < /3
that's why! XD because he's so cute, innocent and completely out of this drama's dark world which means he's probably faking it. at least that's my reasoning. plus I'm absolutely sure Mochizuki is one of those actors who can pull off the immediate switch between sweetness and darkness (though Shison can as well obviously)
wait spoil me what happened? 😂 i don’t mind spoilers
oh it's just that Makino is a double agent who's been working with Mikami all along. i mean when i saw the scene in the ep.1 with them being all hostile in front of the whole office i thought "hmm". and i was right!
I feel betrayed by the writers. I expected them to give some new perspective, some secret, or reasoning that would be more complex than just "a bad guy being a bad guy because he's a bad guy." I also just really hate when the writers just randomly throw the rape trope in like it's nothing much, let's show some sad faces for a sec after and get going with the lovey-dovey plot. It's a serious fucking matter! We already have so many bastards getting away with that in real life, I cannot even. Just hate that part of the story so much.
Sei's situationship still seems emotionally and psychological abusive...no line, no TV, etc thinks he's doing…
I mean he obviously lied about not having LINE (he still could have given the guy his phone number or email instead if he actually wanted to reconnect). The guy took the hint (looking like a sad puppy I must add) and stopped trying to involve him into conversation and just left.
Looks like both Sei and Fujiwara are quite traumatized and codependent, we just know Sei's struggles from the inside. The way Fujiwara looks at Sei, ofc I may be imagining things, but to me his gaze holds so much tenderness, my heart kind of hurts a bit every time. But then again he immediately looks so scared and withdrawn by mere hints on sexual interaction like goddamn roller coaster. I really really want to know what's his deal cause it look more then just lack of interest in sex, he seems legitimately too scared to even explain his reasons.
“clearly”.. it wasn’t that clear tbh. pretty vague wording
oh, come on, it's Japanese, context is everything for the language. and the context screams: I'm willing to give you anything but sex. for reals, 「聖とずっと一緒にいたい。 聖の望むような関係にはなれないけど他の誰かと付き合ったり、結婚したいとも思わない。それじゃダメか?」It's basically a platonic proposal. "I'm yours if you'll take me the way I am".
for me, it's actually more of a really painful story, and those siblings are hardly ever gonna be happy with what they feel and how they live their lives, they're just too codependent to ever be free. so this drama def isn't smth justifying incest or making it 'kinky', it's more of a social commentary on how parents can fuck their kids up and then make it the kids' fault.
as for Itou's character, he's gay and in love with the brother character. he's actually one of the most unapologetically gay characters I've ever seen in a Japanese drama which is really kinda cool.
he probably felt guilty for being the reason the other kid is like that and took the fall for him but that to…
well, he already kinda does the same for his mom (who's incredible selfish in her denial though maybe not intentionally). he just seems to take all the blame and responsibility for everyone and everybody around. even kinda trying to do the same with Minase in the last scene as well being all "I'm a lost case, you should stop caring about me". like Minase being Minase could ever do it. But he's used to people not caring enough to try and protect him so he expects the same from Minase. and Majima just used his weaknesses against him (and didn't even get much out of it since they got similar punishment in the end). It's all just so horribly sad and unfair. but I see why Haruki is the way he is.
Honestly it's weird bc in the manga Kou explains hownit was never aboit Narumi, that he had 0 intention of being…
Yeah, but he could've told her that instead of making her feel like she was imagining him being into her at all. But then again, there would be no drama.
Honestly it's weird bc in the manga Kou explains hownit was never aboit Narumi, that he had 0 intention of being…
No, of course, he wasn't wrong about that, to me what he has been wrong about is not using his words to explain his motives to all the parties involved. That is what causes all the troubles throughout the whole show. And I am just so tired of this _silently_suffering_ML_ trope. But, ofc, that doesn't mean everyone has to agree with my opinion.

He may explain it later maybe? I'm still on episode 3, so. Ofc, he's just a kid and he's hurt and confused and all but like does it justify the way he hurts Futaba? No, not really. What I'm trying to say is that the healthiest relationship Futaba has is with the girls and she just deserves better than sorting out the boys' traumas all the time.
