i watch the trailer, the trailer is not bad per se, but the background looks like green screen and the action or fighting scene are a little awkward,to people who doesn't read the novel they might enjoy this film but to fans of the novel, the changes that the director did triggers us, especially when it concerns the main plot of the novel since that's what the novel is famed for

you don't need to fan the flame, just drop a review and go, if you keep doing these they will hunt you, opinions are subjective reviews are meant to be read not cause an argument

Its true that changes are unavoidable in adaptation, but the thing about this adaptation is that those changes literally impact the whole story. They changes small things that if the direction read the novel literally impact a lot, take this for examples, there's a whole paragraph in the novel why guns are useless in the scenario and yet the director ignores it, the main character of TWSA is the reason why the main character live becomes a side character, then they make the main character hate the novel when in the novel it's literally the main reason why the main character live, those type of changes what trigger me as a fan, because those change are literally the main reason why the whole apocalypse happen in the very first place, if the director change that then the whole trajectory of the adaptation diverts from the novel and it wouldn't be called an adaptation at this point. I'm not saying that the adaptation is bad perse but the whole essence of the adaptation literally make no sense to us fans of the novel.
