The Reason I Fell for This Drama : Kim Kang Woo

It was kind of interesting how this drama suddenly crossed my path and made me curious to watch it, especially since it’s not a very well known series.
I really liked the overall vibe the shift between the city life in Seoul and the peaceful countryside felt refreshing and beautiful.
The OSTs were lovely and memorable, and I also enjoyed learning about the traditional Korean string instrument that appeared in the story.
I absolutely loved Kim Kang Woo's acting he was definitely the strongest point of the drama for me. His countryside accent was incredibly cute and warm!
And Eric Cho 😁 I think he carried all the fun parts of the story and was such a lovable character.
I especially liked the relationship between Oh Jak Doo and Eric Cho; it was one of my favorite dynamics.
The love triangle wasn’t too annoying, but the three elderly village ladies started to feel a bit overused for me they were funny at first, but later on, their scenes felt unnecessary.
The first half of the drama was super engaging; I watched several episodes a day up to episode 18 because I couldn’t stop!
But honestly, from episode 20 onward, it lost a bit of its charm the pacing slowed down and the story felt stretched. I think it could’ve wrapped up nicely around episode 20 instead of going further.
Still, overall, it’s definitely worth watching at least once. I really enjoyed it! 💚
