3.i really can't say why but I guess it's for a bigger motive like if anything goes wrong besides it looks like the demons have to sacrifice their life to return the dragon power. But they give him a share of their power because he has no power and because without the ring he has no power it's why yuan wuhuo is messing with the demons to take their powers back also the reason why the formless moon master sent luwuyi to chiwen
4.. because it was ages back the demon king was just born then as a snake man man and dizhu timeline so hasn't being sealed I'm not sure about lijie's timeline but in wu shiguang parents timeline the jiuying that destroy their clans is on of the demon king fragments that hasn't been destroyed so yes the demon king is sealed but won't die if there are still his or her fragments remaining
5. The star stone was just a ploy yuan wuhuo used to turn wu zhiqi against the dragon deity and it was meant to trap everyone that entered into the illusion though I feel like it might still be useful in the future because in the star stone we got to learn new things
