I can't put my finger on WHAT exactly I find uncomfortable, but something doesn't sit right with me about this pairing. I didn't mean to mislead others about the connection being "SEXUALLY disturbing" (I won't use that phrase to describe my discomfort with the drama). PROBLEMATIC, I certainly do find it! But that may be a personal feeling 🙏

I'd say it is more of a slice of life, character-driven drama. Though the leads have a very beautiful love story, it is "revealed" slowly. If anything, it is heavy on HUMANITY ❤. Each episode will leave you on a high with feelings of warmth and happiness - if not because of romantic love, definitely due to friendship, kindness, and the sheer joy of experiencing the female lead's journey of self-discovery! Do not miss out on Miyabi's journey!

Now, in all seriousness, I DO think parents have the responsibility to look out for their children, especially if they are pursuing such endeavours from an early age, that might expose them to various social hazards (like in ent-industry). That said, shifting the entire blame on the bereaved family, or debates about banning children from pursuing such endeavours, provide NO solution! It is not so different from what this comic sarcastically points out in the video above. They go in the direction of VICTIM BLAMING! 🙏

When will retaliatory actions against people who report injustices stop? People who have power and money can buy laws in this country? Complaint against them for what? Speaking out against your exploitation? LOL, this is the limit of shamelessness!

If these people face legal action and HE escapes unharmed, it would be the END of justice!

I think production aesthetics or pace of storytelling don't necessarily reflect the drama being dated. Take LSK's last (and fairly recent) drama, Call it Love, for example. I loved that drama for its slow pace and understated acting. I could definitely sense a similar slow-burn melo vibe in this preview too, but the visuals, the locations, and the OST, all scream BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL to me! So I see no reason to despair. But if someone thinks a slow burn melo isn't for them, then I totally understand their perspective too.

I don't get why a lot of people are getting the impression that this was shot "a long time ago" ? I watched the preview, and did NOT feel that AT ALL! Was it all the slo-mo ? So this drama was definitely filmed towards the end of last year! But I agree that there's still no clarity about airing dates, as channels keep changing their schedules.

It's a "realistic" "happy ending". The things that you ask about have not been made clear specifically, but the story had come to a point where her being alive and well itself is a relief. It's an ending that's been made for the audience to "feel" that relief in the eyes of the person who loves her the most (you'll know who that is 😉), instead of making us (and him) wish for her to remember everything miraculously. What could better show the selflessness of love!

I've had this question in my mind for many days. @HPriest kindly resolve this! When he asks her to marry him.... Did that happen before or after his coming down with the infection? I thought it was after that, but I'm not sure.

If he really proposed to her AFTER that, it's so cute that both of Miyabi's lies turned true 😂 (to Ayano that she had plans with Sanpei, and at the quarantine centre about being his fiancée).

It is more than decent. It is the kind of idealistic, soul-stirring LOVE (I'll use that word instead of "romance" because this drama has proved romance goes beyond tropes and intimacy), that you'll love if you are an idealist or a hopeful romantic kind of person ❤

All people based outside of Japan, who could watch this drama thanks to @HPriest , please request for it on Netflix so that more people can watch. This drama deserves more attention.
