Oh god. This episode ended even before I could process everything that happened. That was felt like too damn short episode lol, even though it was almost same runtime as all previous episodes. Qian is so used to having xiaoyuan doing things for him. I love seeing this painfully angst progress between them. Next episode is gonna be at the peak of all emotions. Can't wait for Saturday to come already arghhhhhh
I'm on ep5 and I'm curious what age will be Yuan and Qian when Yuan come back from abroad?
From what I understood, thinking yuan went abroad at 18/19 and came back after 4 years. So currently he would be 22/23. And for qian he might be 26/27 (since qian graduated from univ when yuan was still is high school) Again the ages are a bit ambiguous because we don't know how old yuan was when he was adopted. He started studying late than usual kids, but also did skip a few classes(from novel) So calculating their ages from what they are studying also feels a bit wrong. I am sure someone has a better guess on this

Same here, dropped the show somewhere after the confession and came to know how they wrapped up this mess. Then saw the article on twt saying all three cameos are goona be there in last episode, and I was so bummed. Not because of the cameos but because they are all my favourite actors but I can't watch it because I don't know why, but I detest this show. I never felt this way with any other series till now. No offense to the actors again, just the plot isn't my cup of tea.
I don't mind spoilers, can someone please tell me what happened to dohan. I actually don't care about the main leads. Just want to know how the writers wrote his ending. Is he happy?

Yes. Ikr!! But I am also afraid that there can be instances where the actors give their all, but the camera doesn't capture the entirety. But I really hope they will be giving us all the details within 12 episodes. Maybe it's because the novel is such a vast ensemble of emotions. I think it wouldn't do justice if even a small part of it misses. But so far, the series is so on par with all my expectations, if not beyond those expectations. So Fingers crossed

Well yeah I totally agree with you on this!! But maybe it's my own ideology that keeps clashing with how the story is progressing. I was never good with such "affair" plotlines, so I was shocked/annoyed seeing the preview. Let's see how they wrap up the story
