Title Kill to Love Spoiler
I just had to share that Kill to Love has most of the elements of a Greek Tragedy and should be viewed as such. 1. The Tragic Hero - Zi Ang (Central character who faces a significant downfall due to their flaws or choices.) 2. Hamartia/tragic flaw - Zi Ang’s consuming/obsessive love (An error that leads to the hero's downfall. Often involves excessive pride (hubris) or a critical mistake in judgment.) 3. Peripeteia/reversal of fortune – Shu He’s revenge of taking real poison after their stolen, perfect day (A sudden change in circumstances that forces the hero to confront the consequences of their actions.) 4. Anagnorisis/recognition or discovery - The moment when the Zi Ang realised the true weight of his crimes and that they could never, in this life, reclaim the same love they once had. The moment which he truly understood Shuhe and why he could never be forgiven (usually occurs at the same time as Peripeteia). 5. Catharsis – through his suffering, he could atone, leading to a sense of purification and closure.
