lol I feel like I need a character sheet to keep up. They keep throwing around names and I'm like "wait who's…
Han Tae Ho - Son of an alleged murderer
Kang In Ha - Son #3 (Illegitimate son)
Kang Seon Ju - Son #2
Kang In Ju - Son #1
Kang Hui Ju - Only daughter
Mr Moon - The butler (or at least something similar)
Kang Jeong Moo - Kangoh Group Owner
Madame
/ Jang Geum Suk - Kang Jeong Moo' wife

Hope this helps.

First things first, what i was thinking while watching this drama was that Lee Jun Young has such an evil face, like if he was cast as a villain or a psycho he would be a perfect fit because there's just something about his face.

The second thing i was thinking while watching this drama is why did they make it a fucking love triangle. The two guys had a good thing going and a commong goal, the addition of a female character to that mix is bound to mess it all up espcially where they both fancy her and no matter how loyal they are to each other or how much they want to reach their goal. Same thing happened in Weak Hero Class.
I'm going to keep watching because its bound to get messy and i like both Lee Jae Wook and Lee Jun Young's face LMAO.

Its actually interesting. This is one of the few dramas that I've watched that is interesting from the beginning. Normally, it takes a couple of episodes for the drama to find its feet.
But i think I'll just wait till its completely aired to really enjoy it instead of these weekly intervals.

The hold this drama had over me cannot be explained.
And i am rewatching it again๐Ÿ’€
They just don't make dramas like this anymore.

In which episode did they get together? In which episode did they breakup and get back again?Any love triangle…
I think they got together in episode 10 or 12.

After they got together they technically did not break up again but there was a little conflict about the ML's assistant trying to kill the FL but they reconciled quickly.

No love triangle and it was a happy ending.

I don't know if its because i was looking forward to this drama a lot but after i watched it, the drama just fell short of whatever anticipation i had built up in my head. I expected a lot more from it but it was just meh.
The first half of the drama was actually engaging but then i got to the second half and i was struggling to finish the episodes.

Finally completed it. It was pretty good I guess. The whole education thing drove me insane at some point.

I was happy that Sun Jae's mother finally reconnected with her family especially her eldest son and that the whole thing with Sua A and her mother got resolved.

What i did not like was where Hae Yi started misbehaving and treating her mom/aunt bad and she did not even end up apologising, it was honestly tasteless imo.

Other than that the couples were cute and actually acted like mature adults so that's definitely a plus.

I really really want to like this drama, if not for anything but for the FL and the ML. But i don't like how the FL carries herself. She went to a committee meeting with other mothers and two mothers started fighting, why did she feel the need to be the mediator. None of the people there did anything. Acting like that is what made them look down on her. Just because you're not as rich as them doesn't mean you have to be their fucking lacky.
Also, Sua A and her mother and all those other mothers can go and burn in hell.
On Branding in Seongsu Feb 11, 2024
The duration of the episodes are too short. They should have made the episodes longer and then the total number of episodes like 10 or 12 instead of 24.
But i like the premise of the drama and the FL so I'll keep watching it.
On The Heavenly Idol Feb 11, 2024
This drama had so much potential. And what did they do with the potential? They flushed it down the fucking toilet. To say i was disappointed is an understatement. It was finally Kim Min Gyu's first main role and this was what we got.

The drama wasn't perfect but it was amazing. I laughed, cried, got angry, cringed and expressed a whole bunch of other emotions. I also liked those weird side stories.
So i can understand people that think of it as a comfort drama or maybe I'm just biased because i love everything sport related.
Also, every other drama I've watched that had its setting in the countryside had very judgemental characters. But this one wasn't like that, they welcomed the newcomers with open arms and were always ready to help. I really liked their community

That one part from episode one really had me scratching my head and asking "what the fuck is even happening?"
I won't lie I'm intrigued, not about that though but about the drama in general.

So how have you been enjoying the BL scene?

Upon rewatch i just realised how horrible her mother really was. Taking your job seriously is one thing but constantly putting your job above your daughter, your husband and your family is another thing.
Yes, having to raise your daughter alone especially in that economy was terrible but she went about everything the wrong way. And she's the reason why Hee Do couldn't take a chance with Yi Jin

It has been a while since I've really laughed while watching a kdram. Like this drama was really funny and i liked the relationship they had and the way it progressed. What i don't like is how they kept dragging the mystery plot and just killing everyone especially that one character.
But it was really, really good. I love when Lee Min Ki plays characters that are more irrational than rational.
On A Shop for Killers Jan 30, 2024
Jeong Min is kind of sus. The way he looks at JiAn is kind of creepy and the way he kept insisting to clean the bathroom. Or maybe I just don't trust 'kind' characters in kdramas.

Exactly! In reality, she would defo not get away with it. I dropped this drama for her
I'm planning on the dropping the drama too but I'll watch the next two episodes to see how they'll handle everything.
